He apparently uses a different body then the Busters. So he has that going for him.

Hmmm, the only thing is I feel like I'm going to be tempted to complete the Go-Buster team which would be very expensive...even more than trying to get DX Great Go-Buster Oh which I am also contemplating...

I would say don't bother with the Gobusters…they're honestly some of the weakest Figuarts I own…(Says the guy who has Blue Buster and has his eyes set on getting Yellow…)

Yeah, I'd probably go as far as Cheeda Nick and thats it considering how much the rest of the team goes for unless they decided to release Beet and Stag Buster. I'd be all over those guys.

I only have Buster Red and Cheeda Nick. I'd buy the rest but they're surprisingly popular/expensive on Mandarake.

I got a few new Figuarts today: Ryuki Blank, Fourze Cosmic States, Decade Violent Emotion and Kaixa.
A few short (ha!) thoughts on all of them. Ryuki Blank is nice. It's 95% a repaint of Ryuki, but the top of the helmet is different, his mask has less molded detail, the card visor is and advent deck are much plainer and he's got a different sword. I originally didn't think he was different enough to merit getting, until I picked one up for Den-O and looked at it when it arrived. Glad I picked it up, I am once again release-complete on the Ryuki line. Oh dammit, Ryuga just came out, didn't he? Well, almost complete. Decade, Still think the suit is goofy looking, but the figure is well executed. I like the Ryuki style hips, the diecast feet, that he has all three forms for his ride-booker, and that he comes with the alternate head. I haven't seen this form in the show yet, but looking at the two heads, the only difference I see is the purple corner vs the yellow corner on the top of the center slat in his head. I think I like the yellow version more, because it stands out better. I'm a little suprised the DecaDriver doesn't open, or have a swappable open piece, but this is a fairly old Figuart, too, isn't it? It's no big deal at all, just kinda surprising. Fourze Cosmic States is only my second Fourze figure (Fire States first), and I have two complaints. First, is I don't much like the lowering peg joint in the hips. I understand it helps with certain poses, and I'm glad it can do those poses, but I much prefer the Ryuki style hips. On Fire this hinge isn't a problem, but on Cosmic it's loose than I'd like, so it makes posing the legs a little more tedius. Additionally, I don't like the plastic feet. Especially for a figure with such a large primary weapon, that he'll often hold out extended from himself, he needs heavier feet to help with stability and balance. Aside from those nitpicks, Cosmic is awesome. I haven't had any of the switches pop out, which was kinda annoying on Fire, the paint is beautiful, his eyes are super beautiful, the Barizun sword is really great. His gripping hand for the sword handle doesn't hold it as tightly as I'd like, but it's not really a problem, either. I didn't notice until just this very second that the jetpack exhaust ports on Cosmic are different than on Fire, that's neat. Anyway, great execution of Fourze's best state, except for the slightly loosish hips and plastic feet. Kaixa. Kaixa has a lot of accessories. Decade and Ryuki Blank are a little light on accessories, they've got one weapon in 2 or 3 forms, and a few hands, that's it. Kaixa has 7 regular hands, another hand holding the Kaixa Shot, Kaixa Shot for hanging on the belt, Kaixa Driver in 4 different modes, the phone in gun mode, Kaixa Pointer in two different modes, Kaixa Blaygun with removable blade, Blaygun in holster, and empty Blaygun holster. Not knowing the show, but glancing at a KR wiki, I'd say the only thing that's missing is a case to store all the gear in, like the SH figures have (in fact, I may hunt down the SH figs to get the case) The figure itslef is pretty cool. It's got metal feet, and though it has the hinge-down legs I don't care much for, they're quite stiff joints, so they don't move when I don't want them to, so I don't have a problem with them. The suit design is pretty good, the gear is interesting, and it seems like there's lots of posing options with the gear. It really makes me want to start watching Faiz. I guess it would look better with a purple visor, instead of blue, but the blue still looks prety good. I'll definitely get Orga, Psyga and Delta, should they actually be released. I've got Faiz Blaster on the way, and I'll have to see my way to getting regular Faiz and Faiz Axel. |

The only other difference on the Decade heads is that the purple dot one has different, 'evil' eyes. That form will appear in one of the Decade movies. The yellow dot is his standard head from the show.
I have to say I agree on Cosmic States. It's a good figure, but I definitly have an easier time posing him when I do midair poses with a Tamashi stage. |

Next time I've got cashflow I'm picking up Ryuki. I really want to give figuarts another chance since apparently all the ones from my favourite series are junk. Plus, if I ever start Ryuki, I won't need to bolt out and grab the main rider only after I finish
![]() Does anyone know how much Ryuki's shipping weight is? I want to get him off of Mandarake but they calculate shipping by weight, which of course they don't tell you on any of his listings. Last edited by SPLIT LIP; 05-01-2013 at 07:50 PM.. |
