The main Kyoryugers I can say I like with little hesistation are Utchy and Ian. I know Ian gets overshadowed by Daigo, but I still like him nonetheless, for when he gets to shine, he shines brighter than Daigo ever could.

True, but that's been for like two episodes so far out of like thirty, two great episodes granted but he's still barely a step up from Amy whos the worst of the core Kyoryuger.

It's just that Ian has the closest to what could count as a character arc, starting from his personal investment against Deboss to the end, which I won't spoil for you.
Everyone else seems rather static compared to Ian, who, I felt, actually grows.

Yeah, Dantetsu is someone else, but I'm pretty sure he was the Red from some '80s Sentai. Besides that, there's that one monster voiced by Ninjaman...

Also, yeah, the guy who did the Meteor monster's voice is the same guy who did Ninjaman (also Dr Z in AkibaRanger and Franky in One Piece).

Gekiranger 4-6

Really liking the Five Deadly Venoms. they're more or less glorified monsters of the week who last a bit longer, but their personalities are pretty cool since their goal appears to be striving to prove their martial arts better than the rangers rather than just destroying stuff as monsters usually do.

I really liked the fight between Retsu and Gecko on the side of the building. This series really came up with some pretty creative fight scenes, I think. Even Mele was impressed with it!

Fair point actually, Daigo is apparently given a show reason to not develop "too perfect lol" and although Nossan and Souji have a character arc established, they actually go nowhere...
