Finished up the Delta Plus. I've gotta say that it's good looking robot, a great looking wave rider, but one of the most frustratingly fiddly things ever. Great build all around. But the amount of moving joints, on top of them being weak, makes the transformation fall apart a bit. I pulled the shoulders out of the torso, and arms of the shoulder multiple times and the snaps that lock the hip assembly onto the backpack are almost non-existent. The transformation itself is needlessly frustrating but the result is very satisfying. Not sure when I'll take it back to robot mode.
FYI it's not perfect transform either. There are 2 additional panels you have to insert mid transformation to lock the hips into place. ![]()

Got something that's been a bit of a grail for me ever since I started to get into Gundam:
![]() I got a 1/144 Sword Calamity Conversion Kit. The kit itself wasn't the grail but rather the suit itself. I always wanted this guy in Kit form but the only other option out there is a resin kit which requires you to already have the MG Freedom frame….Resin kits are a bit out of my skill range at the moment. I got this off a local collector for a very good price. |
