Well, when I look at him, I think of Kouta and Takeru. And a little later Haruto, because Soma/Shoma is too similar. Regarding the fact that the belt is part of his body, I think it is too early to say for sure. Maybe Bandai is just experimenting with design. By the way, if the belt really sticks out of the main character’s stomach forever, without any disappearing/invisibility modes (otherwise why alter the sweatshirt?), what are the crew’s plans for the hot season? They won’t make Shoma sweat into his sweatshirt in the summer heat? I think the options are either to become an open celebrity hero, or to lose the living belt and then return for the final showdown.

Given how mechanical the belt looks, I'm betting it's not an organic part of him but a cybernetic device implanted in his body. Would that make him the first main protagonist Rider to be a cyborg since the Showa era?

From what I've been hearing apparently he's an alien and that's an organ of his.

And tbh, I'd believe it if that does end up being the case.

Like we only see mechanical stuff as mechanical because of how we were raised. Who are we as humans to decide what is and isn't the organs of an alien?
