I´m now past episode 12 of Sword Art Online and now I really cant see where all the hype is coming from. The show is cool and all but its not that outstanding to be honest. The show is just your typical fantasy action anime with a little videogame flavor thrown in. The worst part is that the game aspect doesnt feel vital to the show and is just handled very superficial.
The rest of the show also feels kinda empty. Its very episodic and I dont get a sense of a bigger story the show is trying to tell. The Characters feel very empty too and its hard for me to get invested in them. Oh yeah and the romance is really getting on my nerves too. It just feels very forced and kinda tacked on. Yeah I´m not a big fan of this anime but for now I will keep watching atleast until they change the really really good opening theme ![]() Just kidding. I myself prefer the Phantom Bullet Arc in SAO over anything else, but hey that's me.

The only thing I really like about Asuna is her outfit and that she is voiced by Lady Candelira

I haven't watched anime in I think three years...but my addiction to the Love Live Rhythm game got me to watch the show and I have to saw it was adorable. Since I began watching it while I was working on making exercising and stretching a daily routine it was nice seeing the girls have to make similar changes to their life.
Whenever I didn't want to go work out I was able to think that if someone like Honoka could keep to such a hard schedule then I could too ![]() I plan on starting the second season soon but there are a few dramas I need to get to first.

Sword Art Online is one of those shows where going into it on word of mouth won't help you. It's either grossly over-hyped or annoyingly criticized. You literally have to go in and form your own opinion.
Personally I really like the series, though also have my fair share of issues.

I agree with Shin. I went into it when it was on Toonami and I loved the ever living shit out of it because I loved the concept and it reminded me so much of .hack in a way. It isn't a perfect series but I found it to be very nice and great to watch.

I am thinking of getting into Yokai Watch and see what the whole craze is about. Apparently it is being called the next challenger Pokemon should be watching out for.
