I watched the first two eps of Love Live, I'm not very knowledgeable about idols anime so no clue how it compares to other shows, but I like the fact that there is a sense of struggle to it, from having to workout to the group having to be approved.
It's a nice touch.

While Monogatari: Second season is still warming up, I'll watch Persona 4: the animation even though I've never played any of the games.

Like others have said the games are actually better I have yet to finish P4 Golden, but man it has convinced me to not watch the animes, expect for Persona 3 the movies because those are amazing.
