Yeah, you can't really just say because Den-O buys the DX Japanese mecha, his concerns aren't valid or worth considering. A constructive argument doesn't work that way.
It's a legitimate complaint. I am absolutely positive there were more than a handful of kids who were disappointed by the toys not looking like they did in the show or not even remotely behaving like they did in the show. It's just something that should have been in the toy, plain and simple. Zord Builder as a concept is great. When they sacrifice accuracy and a toy's individual gimmicks for it, then it becomes a failure. Now, I would fill out the survey and try to express just that... But as I no longer collect the toys, I don't really think it's right of me to give official feedback like that. Last edited by Electric Turahk; 12-20-2012 at 11:21 PM.. |

If people really want the Japanese releases, buy Shinken-Oh when he makes his way here. It'll show them people really would buy it. If nobody buys, then it only supports the zordbuilder.
I am all okay with zordbuilder, but I do wish for a bit better quality. Otherwise zordbuilder doesn't bother me.

Yeah, I have to agree that while the zord builder is an amazing idea, if it sacrifices the gimmicks of the original toy then its going wrong. I have no opinion toward Datas being removed from Megaforce until I know how its handled in the show, but taking the emblem modes from the Samurai toys when they were so frequently shown in the show was a bad move.
If a 6-7 year old me can get annoyed by a Pink Shogun zord (which I did, immensely), then I can believe there are kids the same age out there who are just as annoyed by the lack of emblem modes.

I said I wanted a return of the 5inch scale and more villains and monster of the week figures so I can display them with my Figuarts.

Asked for more features from the Japanese mecha to be incorporated into the American molds, and for more collector releases like Shinken-Oh. I don't expect the actual Japanese mecha to be the main toys for a long time, but if they could throw us a bone now and then and keep most of the features for the main line I'd be happy. Wish I had mentioned a want for less muscled Ranger figures, that's a really good idea.

I made mention that zord builder is a good idea but that they shouldn't sacrifice accuracy to the show, directly siting the emblem modes of Samurai Megazord.
Other than that, my main request was better/more paint apps to keep the Zords from looking so cheap compare to the BoJ DX. In hindsight I should've also requested classic Megazords rereleased and redesigned for zord builder. |

I asked that they make Replica Helmets for adults and kids. I am not a fan of spending $300+ on helmets that may or may not fit or have various flaws. Plus who doesn't want pretend to be a ranger with a decent helmet?
