That was set at the end of 2014, right? And it seems most of Supernatural's timeskips have been ignored as season 8 has confirmed it's 2013. I'm just trying to remember how The End...ended and how any of it will fit considering all the story that has happened since then that clearly didn't happen in The End's timeline. |

The last two seasons gave us a bunch "new" characters and things to familiarize ourselves with. Season 7 was mainly focused on The Leviathans and how to stop them. Season 8 gave us "rouge" Reapers, a Golem, their other Grandfather, and Men Of Letters (Lair/home) Even when they gave us familiar characters, they shined them in a new light for us. We got to see how Hell Hounds look.  So taking a break from dealing with fallen angels and seeing them break-out the salt and grabbing an iron poker, is a sigh of familiarly.
