It was better than I was expecting, but I really don't care for crossover episodes like this in general. And with the ending of last week's episode and what we can expect from next week's it just felt like a rude interruption.

This is probably the worst episode of the series since the third. I mean, the episode as a whole wasn't terrible, but it just seems so out of place. The worst thing was putting this episode in the middle of a story arc, as it is nothing more than bs filler that serves no purpose here. All it does it take away from the story and makes us wait another week to get the next part. They should have aired this thing weeks ago or not bothered with it at all. In fact, it just doesn't make sense to put it in the middle of a story driven show like Gaim.

Not only that, but this better be the last time we are interrupted with the show because they already took a week off with the ToQ crossover. What next, episode 44 is going to be a crossover with Zubat?

Other factors is the plot did not make sense. There was no pay off at all and the fight was so short that it did nothing for me. In fact, it made me want to see the new movie even less. Oh yeah, and would someone get Jiro some WD40 already? Hearing him squeak every time he moved got really annoying after 1 minute.

I agree with no more crossover episodes or specials. I don't want Gaim to team up with Ultraman Victory to promote Ginga S next even though it would be cool. The show ends sometime in September, so I don't want any more pointless episodes.

[Xtreme RX]

A good standalone episode between Kamen Rider and Kikaider and I respect that. In fact, I felt like this "Calm before the storm" was needed because it made this weeks episode all the more exciting and intense.

Not much to say about this episode. I've always had a interest in Kikaider since I saw the anime air on Adult Swim years ago so I didn't need an episode to sell me on the movie. I will say this though, I find absolutely hilarious that Ryouma would cut his brain out to try out the Hakaider .
