My AmiAmi order arrived!
Mega Drive Megatron Legends Tankor Figuarts Gaim Kiwami & Batman Injustice Ultra-Act Agul V1 SIC KT Hibiki & Hibiki Kurenai I haven't opened it yet, but looking at it in-package, it doesn't appear the chest on Gaim Kiwami is cracked. It does look like there's a crease on the fruit sticker underneat it from the sticker getting bunched up after being applied, but if that's all that's wrong with it, I can deal with that just fine. I'll open it tonight or tomorrow and see for myself when I have time to fuss with all the other new stuff that's arrived. ![]() |

No offense, but why would you buy the more expensive version of Tankor when the American one is a massive shelf warmer?

So I broke down and bought the Super Megaforce morpher with the 20 keys at Toys R Us today.
It was on sale for today and tomorrow for $29.99 rather than the original price of $79.99. So..yeah, the cost of the regular release morpher with a bunch of free keys basically.

I didn't give a shit about the status of the Hasbro version, so its shelfwarming status is irrelevant to me, let alone any price difference. That's not always the case (I picked up the Hasbro Roadbuster), but it was here and has been/will be in other instances. |

Because this one has more/different paint aps, so it looks better to me and is worth paying the price to import (which, with shipping averaged out, came out to a little over 2700 yen, and with the exchange rate what it is now...it's not a great deal different than paying for a Hasbro deluxe at retail).

- Big difference is silver paint on the hips, lower legs, crotch, arms & face (as opposed to unpainted plastic on the Hasbro version) - What's left unpainted on the arms, legs & chest piece is a bluish-gray plastic rather than that bluish plastic on the Hasbro version - Vehicon logos on the shoulder pads, rather than the chest There's a video comparison available on TFW as well: http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/transf...ss-figure.html |

Yeah I could have worded that better and used less hyperbole. Because I don't collect mainline Transformers anymore I didn't know if there was still a significant enough difference to warrant paying twice the price.
