Even if the blade is longer it'll likely have a pretty severe trade off in functionality.

Thigh high boots for the ladies? Has that ever happened in sentai before?

Also loving the white boots/colored gloves with a black base layer thing going on.

Those are stockings, probably to differentiate the skirt from the suit. The real boots are ankle high, look where the ring of color is.
