Anyway, episode 6. Not much to say beyond the first outing of Jet Icarus, and wow. That...Wow...It's so painfully boxy. Areas that look like they should feature some level of depth are just painted details, what little there are to begin with. Well, the episode itself was alright. Gai was a dick after being saved by Ryu, but he later saved Ryu's life, so it...Balances out?

It was also a nice take on the arranged marriage episode so many Sentai do, having her and her fiance already been engaged since childhood. No mother/grandmother running around looking for suitors, no forcing one of her teammates to act like her boyfriend, or any of the sort. It didn't change my opinion on those types of episodes, but I'm glad it had a little variation.
![]() You'll see why I'm laughing after a few more episodes. |

rewatched the first 10 Episodes of Engine Sentai Go-Onger today and I´m starting to remember why I liked that show when I saw it the first time.
The characters are not a screaming mess like I remembered them to be ![]() |

Yeah. Revisiting a series sometimes tends to do that, especially with shows you disliked initially.
For example, on my initial watch of Decade, I hated Yusuke (AU Kuuga) and joined in on the "Yuuseless" bandwagon. On my rewatch, I realized he was the only character doing anything at all. Yeah, Decade helped kill the villains, but generally, Yusuke was the one who bonded with the AU heroes, completely altering my opinion on the character. I'm hoping revisiting Sun Vulcan will yield similar results and it won't be as soul crushingly boring ![]()

Same here, but I needed to confirm my statements and make sure none were off or if I was just wrong in my facts.

The only real reason why I wanna watch Sun Vulcan one day is because Akibaranger constantly references the shit out of that show
