Here's my Rider cosplay. It's my first attempt at making any sort of helmet, so it didn't turn out that great, but everybody still loved it. I wore it to a smaller con, and tons of people were happy to simply see any sort of Rider cosplay. Gonna try to re-do the helmet, or at least fix it. Get better eyes, make it less lopsided, and have the jaw piece fit in easier. It was hard to put on, so it ended up crooked a lot (like in this picture). I'm also thinking of maybe just doing the stunt visor method and drilling a bunch of holes for the eyeholes instead of trying to make see-through black material, which is what I did.

Kudos man, that's a sweet cosplay! The helmet looks a little bit wonky, but for something hand made for the very first time? Awesomesauce!

I also kinda ran out of time. I started work on the helmet a month or two before con and ended up completing it the morning of, so a lot of it was rushed. The teeth were a strip of paper that I painted silver and hot glued to the inside of the helmet, and the antennae are pipe cleaners. Still, i'm proud of it. And thanks. My next cosplays are Wargreymon and Green Ranger/Dragon Ranger. Massive undertaking, but my next con isn't until September, so I have plenty of time. Even if I can't finish in time, I have a few others to fall back on, such as Solid Snake (which I wore at the same con as Rider, but on a different day. I can post pics if anybody is interested)
