What was up with the ending to the latest episode??

The next episode will go into it, but Kuroneko is breaking up with Kyosuke as an attempt to improve his and Kirino's relationship. That's why she had that picture in her diary and there was the whole awkwardness when she was over. She's just as against him having a girlfriend as he is her having a boyfriend.

But yeah, we don't talk about that ending. It shattered me.

If you are referring to FFVII Cloud, he is definitely not emo. Remember, he had his mind taken over by Jenova, and his memories were jacked up. His personality was jacked up until he finally broke free and realized who his friends were and stuff. It is the post versions from Advent Children/DoC/Crisis that is more like an emo.

See, I'm talking about the only Cloud that matters, FFVII's Cloud. There have never been any sequels or prequels to each FF game. There is only I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, and IX. Nothing else exists.

Are you implying that Crisis Core isn't cannon? I'm sure it is, considering that it shows everything that lead up to FFVII.
