Unless your goal is for an ad libbed MST3K, I don't recommend it.
Then again, I was always friends with the kinds of people who laugh at tragic moments and never shut the fuck up during plot relevant moments since paying attention was seen as something to avoid doing. Maybe your friends won't be so obnoxious.

That's good. I tried watching marathoning Avatar with 3 or 4 friends when I lived in WA and anytime Iroh spoke they'd make fun of "How dumb his voice sounds" and anytime something important was going on, they'd just be chatting about irrelevant stuff (They only watched the series for the fight scenes, I quickly learned, as those were the only moments they shut their mouths).
