You know, considering the advanced life span of tortoises in the real world, it must be kind of sad for a Pokemon like Blastoise or Torterra who forms a bond with their trainer.
It'd be like Hachiko, except they'd live over a hundred years longer than the dog.

Makes me wonder how much a Magneton would live, or a Geodude, I mean rocks and machines should last more than Turtles.

Not necessarily machines. Those break down mad quickly.
But the rocks are another story. Pokemon like Corsola and Shelder, as well.

I guess that would be the opposite case then, the Trainer would have to see it's pokemon die slowly.

Onyx will probably bury every single person in Brock's family.

Not necessarily. It just takes maintenance!

And yeah, Brock's Onix evolved.

Anyway, Sylveon has just been added to my repertoire. Not really for battle, just for the Pokedex, but I might train it up.
