As much as I love Brad Swaille (such a nice guy) his Amuro isn't great because it's just him as Kicker. There's absolutely nothing (be it subtle or otherwise) to distinguish between the two roles.

To be fair though I think you could say the same for a lot of the high profile voice actors in regards to similar sounding roles.

Probably, and at which point I'd give them the same criticism.

So there's some badass new Gundam Thunderbolt art out.
![]() You know what the color scheme of the Full Armor Gundam kinda reminds me of? The deactivated suits from Gundam SEED. You know, when they're in the ship before they launch and they get the color once they fly out. Last edited by Powerman293; 11-11-2015 at 06:18 PM.. |

Or just overall art style? Because this to me is just fine. It's actually kinda similar to Unicorn but with more badassery added to it. |

Yup yup yup! Can't wait for this to get moving. Itlls be a treat to see all these designs finally in full animation. Can't wait to see Johnny Ridden, or at least a version of him, finally make it to the big screen so to speak as well. He's always been relegated to side stories and games.

I hope though that Ridden being there doesn't bring the entirety of Mobile Suit Variations with him because good god a lot of the stuff in those stories are stupid. If you take all of MSV into account, there would apparently be 7 or 8 versions of the RX-78 running around. Not counting the Alex or the Thunderbolt. And that would be really dumb as a lot of the original MSG's tension/plot revolved around delivering the RX-78 back to home base. So having 6-7 other ones would diminish it. Random thought but: What if Vertical's next Gundam manga project is translating Thunderbolt to coincide with the anime? |
