What are your camera settings? I want a white background, not cream lol. Or are you using Photoshop for post production?

I'm not familiar with the camera you're using, but most point and shoots have a white balance adjustment option in the menu. A lot of lighting on a solid white background usually helps too.

Set your white-balance to whatever light you are using. There should be a setting for incandescent or florescent yellow light. I don't know what kind of camera you have, so I'm going to assume its a point and shoot. I'm just learning this stuff too, I really wish we could maybe start a discussion or tutorials on this stuff.

Auto doesn't always get it right. It's a good idea to play around with the manual settings.

Unless you have white lights don't bother with the auto-setting. Check your manual, it should tell you what each icon for the white-balance is. There should be one for outdoors, fluorescent, etc.

these are the difference between auto and incandescent on the Galaxy S II. They both were taken by the same camera with the same lighting and background ISO:auto EV: 0 White Balance: Auto ![]() ISO:auto EV: +1 White Balance: incandescent ![]() Last edited by OtoyaKurenai; 07-01-2012 at 05:48 PM.. |
