I have to agree that Megaforce seemed to lack an overall plot to its episodic nature.
For 15 episodes, Admiral Malkor wanted to conquer the Earth. Then we learn that Vrak is actually a Prince, and this entire thing is simply an "advance unit" to an entire empire that's headed this way thus totally dropping the Insect and Mutant theme and immediately going in to "robot/cyborg" theme with Metal Alice and Cyborg Vrak. The only really overall plot to Megaforce is to set up Super Megaforce. But everything before that felt empty at the time and in retrospect feels even more empty than before.

I put average. I enjoyed the season, but it still felt like it was just there. The final episode aired on Nov. 30th and while watching it, I felt like noting happened. It's obvious even those behind the season just wanted to jump to Super Megaforce with how "crazy" it's going to be and that's really unfortunate.
