Are there any other companies besides Saban that Nockelodeon could hire to do this as to not violate Ishinomori's request of "Keep that man away from Kamen Rider at all cost!" while still creating a fun and high-quality series that we could all love as we do/did Power Rangers?
Maybe Amit Bauhmik could be the executive producer and a main writer and show Tzachor how you write good children's programming adapted from other good children's programming? |

With Den-O, they can keep all of the belt sounds in English since the sounds are in English. Den-O came out seven years ago, so I think Saban wants something more new. It's a shame since I would love to see an American Den-O show.

If they make localized all-American Gentaro as 21st century Fonzie count me in.
Other than that I think Blade, Kabuto, W, OOO will work.

Actually I'm glad that after Masked Rider and Dragon Knight, we never got an adaption of Kamen Rider again. From the clips I've seen of Masked Rider, I felt the same as Ishinomori- I was completely disgusted. As for Dragon Knight, I think I watched some of it, but I don't remember anything. However, if the people who made it loved Kamen Rider, I'm sure it was great.
I think Kamen Rider is so hard to adapt because it's so special for the Japanese. While Sentai is known, but not as much, Kamen Rider is extremely famous and iconic (they have an Ichigo statue for a reason). To adapt this properly would take someone with high respect for the original work- which Saban hasn't, looking both at MR and Power Rangers. Also, Rider is generally much more dark than Sentai, except for maybe Fourze, but even there, the story is on a far higher level than most of Sentai. Leave that out and most Rider shows are crappy shit, because the action in Rider still isn't as important as storytelling. I'm glad they won't adapt any Rider series anymore, because Rider just can't be adapted properly imho if you don't put an awesome story into it. And that's not quite something Saban does in Power Rangers, so... |

I don't think Blade or Kabuto would be great choices either, sure they have lots of Rider's but neither had particularly great action sequences. Although out of the two I think Kabuto would do a lot better, the action was better (although not great) and it's much easier to adapt fight footage like Kabuto's as we already have stuff like Iron Man, so making a story about government issued super suits shouldn't be so hard.

I was disgusted when they mutilated B-Fighter and B-Fighter Kabuto like how Sid mutilated Woody with a magnifying glass.....*SHUDDER*
Dragon Knight was a good attempt though

Hard to say...yeah, there's Thomas The Train Engine, but it's target demographic is boys ages like 4-7. Power rangers is boys 9-12. I stopped caring about Thomas when I was like 7 or 8 years old. I was all into Pokémon and Bionicle by that point. (Though, when I was 4 or 5 years old; I LOVED Thomas, and just trains in general).

I don't think the problem of adapting Kamen Rider is cultural differences or toy marketability but the fact that nobody wants to take up the offer.
There's not really anybody with enough money or experience to adapt a toku besides Saban. Can you think of any companies? Adness is gone and nobody wants to jump back into toku adaptations. Even if Saban wanted to do it and saw profitability in the offer, I'm sure as hell Nick is not going to allow it like the stupid asses they are. If Nick wants to LIMIT episodes of PR down to 20 per year (meaning that they are intentionally cutting down prime advertising time.) I'm sure that they will not allow this untested property to go past their radars. Its also the fact that Rider needs different things put into it in order to make it good. Sentai/ Power Rangers has fight scenes all throughout the episode with minor story in between each fight. Whereas with Rider, there's fight scenes at the beginning and the end of the episode ( with maybe a fight in the middle) but most of the episode is talking. There often stretches in Rider episodes of 10-20 minutes without a costumed guy or a fight. However, if there was no business involved and I could have a dream Rider adaptation series, I'd have Adness to all original HD footage for a Kamen Rider Blade adaptation that's 40 episodes with the actors for the original Blade Riders making cameos.
