The designs that have gone into producing the Shadow Line, just, unff. Now you have know something about me, I love steampunk aesthetics any day. So add that to a decent enough sentai show then I'm putty in their hands.

There are a number of subtle things that confuse me about Toqger at the moment though,

- Conductor and Ticket seem to have a plan of their own.
- Greeta is... I don't get how anything works in her plots.
- This week's monster being flat out unmemorable rubbish.

Now, is this a case of the writers trying to sound clever compounded with me trying to read something into the show which was never there to begin with? Or are they actually foreshadowing a later plot line? (Third option: Winging it)

Either would be fine as its great fun anyway, but I seriously can't tell right now.

I think Toqger will win or lose me based on whether the writers have a master plan or not. If they're winging it, meh... but they're certainly hinting at something, aren't they?

Now that would make sense, as I didn't get what she ACTUALLY did. In any case, not a horrible episode, but definitely not my favorite of the bunch.

I'm sorry guys, I just am not enjoying this at all. This episode was just down right stupid. The villains are barely even showing up and the ranger cast just annoys me to no end. Plus, I still just down right hate ToQ-Oh's design. Four episodes in and it is doing nothing for me. I'm going to give it through the Gaim cross over episode and then I'm done if it isn't working for me by that point.

That was definitely the impression I got, in fact, I think that's definitely what the whole thing was supposed to be.

Anyway, I loved the episode. I'm not going to lie, I'm really, really loving ToQger, far more then I thought I would. I'm actually vastly preferring it to Kyoryuger and I was one of the few that loved Kyoryuger despite its flaws. One thing bugged me though, shouldn't have Tokatti noticed the Pass was gone when he returned the items? What did the money get returned on?
