Yeah, that was a pretty great twist. I did not see that coming. When we saw Genm in the previews I assumed it would be Emu using the Proto Gashat and then when he showed up in person I assumed it was Poppy. Really curious to see where the show goes with this.

Both are fantastic villains and they compliment each other perfectly - Parad's more calculating, whimsical evil and Dan's craziness. The motives of both are ridiculous from a real life perspective, but make perfect sense within the show's rules. I actually love how ridiculously petty Dan's motives are: they introduce a welcome bit of dark comedy into a show that is otherwise quite serious.

This show is really good with villains, is what I'm saying.
