Option 2: Explore Alternative Mediums, like the Big Finish Doctor Who Audio Dramas. Granted, Power Rangers and Tokusatsu are visual mediums and it would be a divisive approach. That being said, Doctor Who was originally a visual medium and it thrived on the approach. I'm not necessarily saying that an audio drama or book-on-tape approach is a viable option, but it does show how visual product can adapt itself in a non-visual manner through alternates.

https://www.doctorwho.tv/news-and-fe...drama-releases Many of the original actors do return, though sometimes it takes awhile to accomplish this. Some actors have, sadly, passed away and recasts have been done to accommodate this. Many of the Eighth's popular adventures come from the audio stuff. I'm afraid I don't know about Kamen Rider Audio Dramas, but it seems like they don't have the same amount of investment or intrigue. The reason I brought all this up though is how they took a visual medium and found a way to tell new stories (many of which are meant to take place in-between TV adventures as well as some comic and novel adventures) in a manner that has worked exceptionally well for the past 25 years! Even if an audio drama isn't the right answer for Power Rangers, it's still possible that the aforementioned premise might lead to the right answer if only because it inspired someone somewhere to think about this franchise just a little bit differently. |

Disney bought FOX Family because the venture wasn't doing well and Newscorp had to sell. Disney were the highest bidder in the end. What I'm saying is that if the venture had succeeded. It's likely that the franchise could've been more stable. Power Rangers could've been one of the marquee shows on that channel.

Yes Power Rangers should've been direct to home dvd/digital released like DC does. It could've allowed for more depth to some of the previous ranger seasons.

Not necessarily, it might have made Disney bid more to buy it m, even if Fox wasn't looking to sell initially. Besides which I doubt it would have changed Fox's trajectory much, and even of Disney didn't get Fox Family then, they certainly would have gotten them when Disney bought Fox later.
