I've been thinking of starting Super Gals. So far only the first season has its English dub on YouTube via Manga Ent. I heard good things about this series. Should I give it a go guys? |

I saw four episodes of Super Gals and I'm loving it. It's a cute series but SG doesn't shy away from hard issues like comi-dates, gang violence, scams and just how cruel some people can be. But there is overall a strong sense of justice in the show. Plus the leads are likable and there's some good humor and romance to balance things out. It's a damn good show and I'm glad I'm watching it. |

So on yesterday's episode of Gintama 2015, it centers around porn mags. Literally laughed my ass off the entire episode when Gintoki kept finding porn magazines that Shinpachi owned. Also, Gintama parodied Assassination Classroom and To Love Ru. Two of my favorite anime/manga ever. My life is complete. |

Just saw Futari Wa Pretty Cure Episodes 1-7. Pretty standard magical kid's anime. Generic plot with generic setting & generic villains. Transformation scenes are instantly skipped for any show I watch that has them (even my beloved Digimon) so that's not an issue. The fights range from meh-to-interesting, though I'm still surprised at how much of a beating these girls can take. While everything seems very cookie-cutter so far I still choose to keep watching it. And that's because of the characters. Nagisa & Honoka are exactly what you'd expect them to be but still make you wanna see how they overcome things in both their normal lives & their battles. Mepple & Mipple are okay at times while being funny at others. The mystery involving their travel to Earth & why they refer to it as a different name despite knowing about it's culture is very intriguing as well. Just shows how important characters are to media. Can't wait to see more later today.

I am still watching Super Gals and yes it really is worthy of its praise. Finished the two parter about Miyu's past as a gang leader. It handled the subject matter seriously while still allowing room for more light hearted fare, which I enjoyed all around. I wish I could keep watching it tomorrow but my sister's coming over so my computer time's going to be brief since mom's having trouble with her printer still. |
