Of course. I just personally don't find it that interesting - I find teams that gel together well to be more enjoyable to watch. Not that either way is better than the other, just a personal preference.

I kind of like how Ninninger is doing it - they all get along fine, but still have to work on acting like a team.

Also, Zyuranger started off as a team already, so they didn't really need to learn how to work as a team.

One last thing...I've only seen the first episode of Carranger, and the one...thing...had to drag them into battle. Do they have to learn to work as a team in that, or do they work together fine and just not want to fight monsters? I'll watch it either way (whenever it's done being subbed, if it hasn't been already) since I loved Turbo as a kid and the parody aspect sounds fun, i'm just curious.

Carranger has been completely subbed; I have it downloaded, but I haven't started it yet. I still need to finish Gingaman and Battle Fever J before I start it.

Really? I might have to get on that. Last I knew there were only like 30 episodes done. I still have to finish Jetman (right at the end) and catch up with Ninninger first. I was gonna watch Dairanger next, but i'll wait for the DVD release now.

I finally watched the next 3 episodes I have to Oh (33-35) and man, that big battle with Bacchushund was so boring. It should have been something amazing, but there just seemed to be little to no energy in it and the lack of any music did not help either. Finally, the designs for OhBlocker still suck even to this day.

Okay, Dairanger episode 1.
Not a good start. Like, at all.
However, this isn't surprising. So many good shows have shit pilots because pilots have to introduce everything then throw in action then throw in other stuff.

Dairanger just begins. OMG MONSTER ATTACK OMG SISTER NO! OMG GIANT DRAGON! OMG KI POWER OMG I'M A DAIRANGER! Then they meet up with their 5th member. Then OMG EVIL MAITRE D's! OMG I'M A DAIRANGER ARE YOU A DAIRANGER TOO?! KILL THE MONSTER!

Joking aside, I hate the villain designs. The 3 general villains just look uninspired, the monster designs (All 2 that I've seen (Including the one from the "Next episode" bit) just look ugly. And that's not in an aesthetic sense, but just poorly thought out and built kind of way. The foot soldiers are just terrible. They don't fit the theme at all and just look like a joke that someone took seriously. "Who should be the foot soldiers?" "Well, we're making a martial arts and Chinese based series, so..." "Genius! Evil waiters!" "Wait, wha?" "PRINT DAT SHIT"

I love the designs of the Dairangers, but I've always enjoyed them, and I RyuseiOh's dragon form is on point, as always.

tbh, I like the waiter henchmen of Dairanger.

I mean, we had plain dapper guys for ToQger, so I don't see the problem.

I mean, look at Kakurangers goofy henchmen.

I'm not gonna lie. There have been worse henchmen. Megarangers' in particular I remember thinking were gawdawful.
These are better, yeah, but I still don't like them.

Well, maybe not all of it. The pilot is of the overly rush-y variety. Then again, I can only think of two or three Sentai pilots that are flat-out good.

The monster designs are pretty forgettable throughout, but compared to the monsters from shows prior, they're super well-constructed and well-made.

But when you get to the designs of the Gorma generals and the Cotopotoros... Well, I know you can't really say someone's personal preference is wrong but...

Really? I think the Gorma designs are some of the best out of any Sentai series. The only ones I would say top them are the Saima Clan ones from GoGoV. I love all of the designs to the Monsters of the Week because the single eye makes them stand out from mythological creatures Bandora sent out and the ghosts lead by Junior and Daima-O. Some of my favorites include the Lipstick Songstress, High Priest Saw, Key Jester, the Three Sisters of Hell, and the Four Winds.

Another thing I love is how each Gorma monster has its own fighting style.
