Yeah, I'd rather it continue from 02 instead of retcon it...

The line about all DigiDestineds in the world seems to imply it's more than just the original gang, so probably does include 02.

Only bad response this made me have? The realization that it probably means any future Figuarts will be more Adventure only. >_<

If it retcons 02 out, then I'm out. No reason to erase the perfectly acceptable sequel we already had with a new one. This isn't the Terminator franchise damn it.

All it said tai was in high school and is 17 and the new adventures include all digimon in the world so I don't see 02 being retconned but doing a new adventure before the epilogue at the end of 02
