Jetman to me was never really all that dark, like at all. Dairanger though, yeah, that's probably the darkest I've seen so far. For crying out loud, one of it's major plot points is about a mother abusing and abandoning her child.

Other than those? The swords with attachable discs, the mecha aesthetics, the villains gathering fear or something in liquid form, and the gold ranger with a food morpher. A lot of this show has felt to me, since we first saw it, like a desperate attempt to recapture Shinkenger's popularity.
