That Halloween episode will be both a clip show and an original story. Why? If you look at that clip, you can hear Morgan note the appearance of Duplicon and Curio, which is significant because Duplicon already BLEW UP!!! This "Bat Monster" might have the ability to revive others, which leaves one thinking it will be like Mighty Morphin' Season 2.

Does anyone think that Heckyl is kinda the counterpart to GoBusters' Enter? They both do share armored forms and stuff. Well I haven't seen the actual episode where he appears yet so I can't really say.

Dino Charge has a real hit and miss relationship with names. Monster names, character names in general, are pretty great (I love Poisondra). And while I love Dino Steel and the Dino Charge Armor, they aren't that great naming weapons and zords combinations. Dino Armor X lacks imagination, Dino Charge Megazord Stego-Tricera-Ptera formation is way to damned long. And I realize I'm nitpicking. The rest of the show is good, really good. It's art compared to the last four years of a horror show we've suffered through. It's just weird how they can be so good at names on one end, and lackluster on the other.

Isn't the default formation for the Megazord called "TriStego Formation" and the Western one called "ParaRaptor Formation?"

I thought those were good.

Trying to catch up with this season, and so far, it really feels like an improvement over the last few seasons. In particular, there seems to be a bit more effort put in the writing, even if it's not perfect. I hope it keeps up the momentum.

Previously, I had posted that Shara Conolly had a guest role as Emma in Dino Super Charge. Recently, I saw that her CV showed it as a recurring role.

Now, the gossip section of the NZ Herald, called Spy, also very briefly brought it up in a piece about her being on Shortland Street:

I think the X is supposed to stand for Extra, condisdering its and upgrade for Chase's Dino Steel.

Anywho, I have a theory!

Chase receiving those plane tickets this week from his sister to visit her and his mom in New Zealand for Christmas made me think to an episode of Kyoryuger which I think may end up being the season finale to Dino Charge. Perhaps. In Kyoryuger there was an episode where Priest Chaos awakens Deboss himself and pieces of him attack major cities around the world. Sending the different Megazords across the world. Tobaspino-Oh, Plesi-Oh, Kyoryuzin, and Pteragordon (I know I missed some names up, it's early here). So... I'm thinking everyone on the team is also on vacation for the holidays when this happens. And they rewrite the story as Sledge pulling out an all-out attack on them while they're scattered across the world.
