Aside from heavy bias of it being a favorite and having been used to make my favorite PR season, why not? It just got finished being subbed so might as well give it a shot. Though I do also suggest Gingaman and Abaranger (my obligatory Aba recommend returns) as well.

And that's 2 votes Ginga.
What's up with Gingaman? How is it like? ...What's wrong with episode 4? I'm not looking for a reason to go against GoGoV. I'm just curious about what it's like. What are some of it's positives? How are the characters, etc

Gingaman is a great show. Fun characters both in terms of the team, the villains, and even some of the side characters. The story is done well and is a great fantasy mythological one and one of the best of that type that Sentai has done. I could sit here forever and sing Ginga's praises. It is, 100%, my favorite Sentai, EVER and de-throned (upon completion) Hurricanger, which held the title for quite a long time.

I've seen Goseiger O_O
Jetman, Dairanger, Kakuranger, Megaranger, Dekaranger, Gekiranger, Goseiger, Gokaiger, and Kyoryuger are all under my belt ![]() Quote:

Gingaman is good to, but it doesn't make my top 10. The cast is strong and I like the aspect the show does with its villains. |

Granted I do have my issues with the show. The humor at times isn't the best and a bit grating, and at times Hikaru, who is an otherwise fine hot headed character- can suffer from flanderization when the plot demands it. Some subplot points also feel very under developed and shoehorned. However in 33 episodes I've watched there's maybe five I don't care for and one I just will never watch again, that being ep. 4, which I reviewed here. |

Well, Geki doesn't really have a sixth ranger character (Unless you count GekiBlack and GekiGreen, who join the rangers so late into the game I think there's less than 5 episodes left
![]() The family angle is an interesting one, but not one I'm too terribly interested in. I'm glad to hear it balances comedy and drama nicely, though. Hm... I'll see if I can get to downloading both, since I'm sure I'll want to watch them both eventually.

Gingaman is very sword and sorcery. If you like legends, legacies, mythical aspects, the show is very heavy on it. The characters are fun, and a lot of the conflicts with the villains are really good. Also really great build up to new toys, for the most part anyway. For example it takes 7 episodes before Gingaioh even appears.

Truth be told, I've never actually seen very many straight up sword and sorcery tales. Strange, I know, but I've only ever read/watched works that delved into it briefly, but never played it completely straight. Gingaman might actually be my first ![]() Also, wow, that is a surprising amount of restraint.
