So I got my two boxes of "Universe of Hope" and the starter deck today.

By the end of the day I ended up with at least one of each card in the set. I like the set, but to be honest it wasn't as exciting as the Series 2 was. It has some cool cards and I enjoy it, but I don't understand why the set was so much smaller then the last one. Seemed a bit sad although I do really appreciate having Green Ranger and White Dino Ranger be villain cards, although outside of them the villains are really lacking here.

Also, no, there is no Akaranger. There's a Megaforce Red with Samurai Red and RPM Red (bizarre) and VulEagle. While there's Green with Midoranger, Pink with Momoranger, Yellow with Kiranger and Blue with Aoranger. Why the heck didn't they do all 5 Gorengers? Why does Red randomly have VulEagle and two non-Sentai exclusives? So frustrating, my OCD can't handle that shit.

Also meh at how "Lauren" cards will randomly be either listed as "Samurai" or "Super Samurai". It's stupid that the two card sets aren't treated as one.

Is this card game any fun? Or are you guys collecting it for the sake of collecting something? Just wondering, because if I ever play it, Bandai UK has forced me to import the majority of my cards and I don't care enough to do so, unless the game is awesome.

The game is pretty fun. Me, my partner and my twin brother play each other quite a lot and it's quite enjoyable. I also had to import everything as Australia isn't getting the ACG either.

It is very basic and more then a little luck-based, but the more sets come out the more fun it is, although its a little unbalanced. For example, we had to ban putting the first Starter Deck's Samurai cards because they were crazily over powered, but we have lots of fun nonetheless. If you have a friend who likes Power Rangers, I'd say get the starter decks and try it out together. It's nowhere near as complicated as Yu-Gi-Oh! or similar TCGs, but we've spent several hours playing them and making different decks.

The collecting is fun too. Ironically, it seems the only place where the Anniversary is being done properly at the moment, except for the over-abundance of Megaforce and Samurai cards. Sets evenly distribute cards among the seasons and all the season's have a unique deck-theme with their abilities that are pretty diverse and match their season well enough, I think.

There's also options to make the game even more casual and luck based with additional rules regarding functionality with the Gosei Morpher, but I think they're better off ignored.

Alright thanks for the heads up! I think the Starter Decks are all we're getting in the UK and no expansions or boosters, so I might have to go with my friends and pick some up and have a go! Knowing my luck I'll get addicted and spend hundreds of pounds importing cards

If you don't care about the game, are the cards worh it for the art? I'm wondering if it would be a good idea to chase down the cards I like before I get the Gosei morpher.

yea we UK fans are getting the Start Deck but Bandai UK is forcing us pritty much to but the Toys i would not mind it if they sold the cards like thoes Match Attack way or and stuff sell it as a Card game magazine system. also does any one know a import site that sell boot box of this game to overseas buyirs cause i want to collect this game

I went through my cards, sadly haven't bought anything really of wave 2-3 because it was con season, but i do have a complete set of 1 missing these 16 cards:

27; 29-31; 33; 41; 44; 48; 51; 65; 66; 70; 76; 80

I know dino megazord and dragonzord battle mode are gonna be an impossible mission for me to obtain, but i should be able to get the rest of them eventually
