I may be getting old but consoles are getting way too confusing for me. I thought the reason I got consoles over PCs was because they were more simple and easy to use (and cheaper).

I hate the used games fee, that makes no sense from the consumers' point of view.

Well, first they said the system wasn't always-online. Now its confirmed the XBONE needs to be on once every 24 hours to work.

And the fee thing is apparently misunderstood too. I'll be glad if thats not true but Microsoft not making such key details clear is another huge misstep in my books.

Yeah I found another conflicting source on it after following the trail. >_<

Only Kotaku is saying the 24-hour thing about being online. But we'll see what it does if you don't do that in due time.

Right now, there's SO MUCH BULLSHIT with conflicting stories, so I'm done. I'm just done. I'm not looking into it anymore until another massive and CLEAR (not legaleze bull) announcement is made. So probably E3. It's all too conflicting and confusing and I just want to play my damn games... Today's been way too annoying with the back-and-forth from every other source, without any clear indication what to believe out of it.

One thing that's irritating for the always online thing is our armed forces. When they serve on ships or overseas, they cannot use online capabilities. I know when Ubisoft tried that with AC2 or Brotherhood, (can't remember which one specifically) many members of the armed forces cried foul, and I agree with them.
