Dororo is a perfect show for kids. I mean it has all the essentials with baby mutilation, child murder/being eaten, women having to sell their bodies just to get by, and more.

According to Amazon: Watchable if you’re 16. The first part, the episode before - suitable for 6 year olds. I can’t even.

I really don’t know how this works though, because after Amazon decided I needed to verify my age I couldn’t re-watch any of the episodes I already saw. So that tells me the whole show has an age rating. But every single episode has one too? I really have no idea what happened there.

I like it. Generally interesting setup with a unique duo of protagonists, some great action scenes and what I like most, the music is really good. From the rather catchy J-pop openings to the beautifully traditional Japanese tunes within the show.

I don’t watch much anime these days but this one got me hooked.

It is insanely evil though. It will get you. I can deal with the gore, but some of the other stuff that happens here? Jesus Christ.

Well this has been a shitty month so far, and it's only the 4th. I was going to get a car tomorrow. turned out to be a scam. Thankfully I didn't pay the scammer any money. But I was so looking forward to having a car I would own outright. My audition prep class got canceled. I took it as a sign from the gods to not pursue a side career in entertainment. Every time I want to take a class aside from improv it gets canceled. And I'm still single with Valentine's day around the corner.

Dororo is a Shonen manga and was made for kids 6+. By today's standers, it would be Seinen (anime and manga for adults).

I saw that. I wanted Discotek to pick up Paranoia Agent, but I guess I have no choice to buy it from Funimation.
