That's exactly the one I'm tempted by as well. He won't be cheap, but I heard this is one of the best movie toys they ever made. Which makes it interesting to me.

Yeah, I only own the first movie Leader and kick myself for passing up later versions. This is like fate telling me to fix that

I did own that Leader Optimus. He is very accurate to the on-screen appearance (at least for the first 3 films) but incredibly hard to transform. It takes pain-staking precision to line everything up correctly and there's some very VERY fragile pegs in his chest that can break without much effort.

I had enough trouble with the first movie Optimus, so I probably wouldn't even try with one that's even harder

If you want something that looks like Movieverse Optimus & aren't too bothered by scale, then your best bet is still probably "Battle Blade" Optimus from the 2nd film.
