I fucking hate videogames right now. They kick my ass and are no fun anymore.
Kingdom Hearts 1 Final Mix HD. I finally beat that fucker of a bug boss and guess what, ANOTHER BULLSHIT BOSS, THIS TIME A PANTHER. Yes, I willingly choose to go with hard difficulty but that fight was unfair. Tons of enemies knocking out your parties members, causing you to stop what you are doing and use cure every 2 seconds. I finally beat the panther after raging, yelling at my tv and nearly wanting to break my PS3 controller and guess what? Another fucking Labyrinth I have to go through. Its not fun when i have to do the same reptetive fights over and over again, assholes at Square Enix. Fuck this game. Dark Souls . Dark souls raped my gamer soul for the first time, and it even wasn't by enemies. It was that giant fucking boulder that goes down the stairs when you try to get up to it and move the pole so it doesn't kill you. I forgot where to go and Dark Souls kicked my ass for it. even though this game has genuine difficulty, I still hate it right now. I hope I love this game enough so I can get to play through it again. Xenoblade Fuck this game too. I am in gallahad fortress and now i have to get through a shit load of enemies to advance and I can't beat them. So I go to try to do sidequests to level up. I try to do a sidequest in Nopon village where I have to find 4 of an item in Makna forest. I have 1 of them already so I spend an hour wandering around the forest collecting blue orbs like and asshole and never got another one of the item. The combat system is fucking flawed too. There's an element of luck in battles which I hate. If you go at the same boss with the same party and use the same tactics and are the same level, your mileage is going to very greatly. Earthbound I am actually pleasently surprised that this game has such a nice difficulty curve. After beating the boss in Onett I'm heading to the cave and... I need to level up. I don't hate this game. This is why, when i make my own Action RPG, I'm going to remove all the BS that makes me angry. Last edited by Powerman293; 10-05-2013 at 02:25 PM.. |

Try Okami!
It's about the journey and experience, not an endurance test to see how long you can last before breaking something ![]()

Short version: it's fun, it's not annoyingly hard and it has a good story with likeable characters. You may want to give it a try one of these days. ![]() |

I finished The Last of Us a few weeks ago. That was a solid experience, but not really the masterpiece it was chalked up to be. I'm glad to have played it, and it's definitely a stellar game, but I'm burned out on zombies and it was just similar enough to Uncharted that the stealth mechanics and survivalist stuff was a little hard to get behind in comparison.
I also recently got Bit Trip Runner 2. It doesn't feel quite right to me. I don't like the 3D models, the art style is a bit distracting from the core of the game, and the controls don't feel nearly as tight as the first's. Can't beat it for five bucks, but eh. Then I replayed GTA IV to get hyped for V. I have the PC version, so it was frustrating to get back into it with all of the optimization issues, but I got sucked in the longer I played it. I really do like the characters, just wish that the plot moved a little faster without all of the tutorial missions in the beginning, like with Brucie and whatnot. That said, I haven't played The Ballad of Gay Tony or The Lost and The Damned, so maybe those characters are important there. And I'm installing GTA V as I type this. Hopefully getting Pokemon X this Saturday after I come back from College Station. |

Trying to load StarCraft Terran campaign but it wouldn't load. I can get to the Campaign selection but when I click on the Terran it doesn't do anything. Anyone have any ideas what is going on?

GTA V is really living up to its hype. The missions are a lot less repetitive than previous games in the series, the gameplay just feels right, and I'm continually impressed at how much Rockstar managed to cram into the game. I've spent more money on clothes and haircuts than I have on weapons and cars combined so far.
