I'm sure I watched a show recently featuring some kind of knights who get their powers from story books that could benefit from this kind of approach.

If it involves a dude with green and silver armor and has a black visor while maintaining the lip design common in most Ultras chances are it is Andro Melos. If it is an Ultraman-esque design posing or fighting in what seems like an old timey way of describing cyberspace, Gridman.

Yeah, I’ll admit I have something of a thing for his designs as well. I pretty much consider them (mixed with the other designer’s) the saving grace for Gokaiger’s aesthetic (since those suits and weapons do not look that good), if not for the show itself (Not really a fan of the show itself either, though it’s not entirely to Ryuki levels)

he has a real talent for these things, and I feel embarrassed that I have seen so little of the Heisei shows that he worked on, despite thinking of him so favourably. I should probably rectify this rather than living in the Showa era.
