Yes, and also no anniversary specials or at least the old show in better quality. Toei basically pretends this anime never happened.

I honestly can't blame them. The legal battle was that much of a headache for everyone involved.

Anime VA Toru Furuya is in hot water due to the revelation that he was in a torrid affair with a fan for a few years!

I won't reveal the details here, but it doesn't paint the guy in the best light.

Furuya has voiced Gundam's Amuro and One Piece's Sabo and Dragon Ball's Yamcha and Sailor Moon's Tuxedo Mask.

What the hell happened with One Piece openers?

When I found the One Piece channel on Pluto (free but with ads streamer which has Power Rangers on "Forever Kids" and TokuSHOUTsu and Godzilla channels to say the least), the opener wasn't accurate to the arc in question. It possessed no cast and crew credits. It also felt like it was from an arc or two back.

I checked Crunchyroll and the same issue exists. The English Dub of Kuma's scattering of the crew before the Summit War has the correct opener, "Share The World", but when I switched to Japanese audio the episode possessed the cover opener... which is clearly not the original intent.

It's not the only shift.

Jumped ahead to Luffy's fight with Warden Magellan in Impel Down, and the same false opener is attached to the Japanese audio, but the appropriate song, "Kazewo sagashite", is still connected to the Funimation Dub (but like "Share The World", no song lyric subtitles).

Something has assuredly changed.

That said, the actual War episodes on Pluto had the appropriate song and opener, indicating that not all opening songs have been replaced.

on DVD to get ready for Master Journeys. Saw Jhoto - Master Quest
on Boomerang. Boomerang skipped Indigo League so watched
that on DVD.

New episodes of Horizons will be seen on Poke Flix TV.

Viz Media will drop Ultimate Journeys on DVD on July 23 so will watch
there after a price drop.
