I personally found the paint job on OOO's fine. The detail on him looks great and he looks the same as he does in the show. I'm still collecting the other forms. So I don't want a renewal version anytime soon.

My main reason for Kuuga is that I want them to do for him what they did for Black, but another reason is how the paint on many different Kuuga's forearms fade over time. Agito could benefit from the body upgrade as well but needs more hands.

The SIC set of JokerJoker and CycloneCyclone came with the perfect one. I'd go fish them out and post a pic comparing them, but I don't think it's necesary because seriously I can't believe you guys are even trying to say the W Figuart isn't totally off in every important way.

Even if you like it, you should at least be able to tell it's woefully inaccurate. You cna't just keep saying "I think" and "I feel" in the face of facts and pretend like nobody ever should ever want a better version of their favourite rider.

This is true. Black really got it good with the renewal, unlike Kabuto.

The terrible headsculpt is awful for two extra reasons. Firstly the hype around Figuarts, most of which is generated by themselves but also ITS A HELMET. You had one helmet, two eyes, two colours and a logo to get right. It wasn't a complicated human face, a HELMET, how'd you fuck that up?

It really makes me wonder. They obviously had some kind of reference. Especially damning as W is far from a complicated design.

Agreed on the helmet part, I hate unhelmeted action figures because the headsculpts always look off. But there really isn't an excuse for the W helmet. BTW, why are act 3 tamashii stages so expensive? It's almost cheaper to buy a figuart that comes with one than it is to buy a generic stage on it's own.

Is there any reason you're buying Act 3 stages over Act 4? Those are the ones mostly used for Figuarts now.

Act 3's in my experience are made of much lower quality plastic than 4's
