Fallout 3 is way harder than I remember it being. It's fun, but I've had to turn the difficulty down as I just can't endure. There are never enough caps, and never enough stimpacks.

Played a bit more DmC. Still not sure how to feel about it. I think it has some gorgeous visuals, and as far as 'edgy' reimaginings go, I actually really like the direction DmC has taken it. It's basically taken every part of the original franchise that worked, stripped out the melodrama and streamlined and modernised the storytelling.
There are other improvements as well, most noticeably in the platforming, which is actually as fun as platforming can be, rather than downright infuriating like it was in the original games. The only thing I'm not really sold on yet is the combat, I know DMC is famous for its combat, but I've always found it overrated. DMC was just lots of cool ideas laid on top of each other with minimal effort to make them cohesive. They have tried to make it a bit more cohesive this time around, but it still feels oddly cluttered at times.

Made a bit more progress on Fallout 3. Still ballachingly hard but saving a little boy from super fire ants is the kind of craziness that you can only find in Fallout and is part of the reason I love it. I also finally have the Bloody Mess perk.

I finally figured out how to keep the analog stick on my Gamecube controller to stop drifting to the right, and tested it out on Need for Speed: Underground. It's a heck of a lot easier to steer now, and I'm a bit better at it than I remembered.
Edit: Played Enter the Matrix as well, and the controls still kinda suck. At least I can aim now. Last edited by 2ndSndWve; 11-15-2013 at 05:27 PM.. |

Currently waiting for Super Mario 3D World.
I'm not really playing anything right now because I'm so stoked for SM3DW so I want maximum battery life for went it does come down my way. |

So my ISP decided not to provide me service during the past two days, so I spent the past two days playing GTA V and Style Savvy Trendsetters. I finally finished GTA V, and I don't think there's much to say that hasn't already been said. I originally chose A, but I realized that was a mistake and went with C. More or less what I expected, but a great game overall.
Style Savvy is top-tier gaming and everyone with a 3DS should buy it. Immediately. |
