I know, and I expect all episodes to be fixed on their BDs, which in the end, is what really matters. However, how the hell do you mess up THAT bad to the point that Freeza is wearing shoes in some scenes?

Considering the buckets of money Toei made from releasing Tri in cinemas, I don't think they made a bad decision there.

If they started Super in January, they could start right after ROF ended. As I said before, do a 5 minute recap on BOG and ROF, you would be good to go.

Heck I agree recipe of film be better then we could of a still filler episode one but was more bridge from film to the show

What they could have done was just do several episodes of adventuring that lead up to the events of Battle of Gods, but then skipped it and did a little recap at the beginning of the next episode, do daily lives stuff leading up to Resurrection F, then another quick recap at the beginning of the episode that starts the tournament. This show is not based on a manga, so there was no reason to retell the movies that were already told better.

The ROF arc in Super has finished tonight. Super's equivalent to the Garlic Jr saga in my opinion is finally over. This saga had some good moments like Goku and Vegeta being on Whis planet, but that's about it. The movie is much better because the action is well done while in Super, it was boring to sit through. Next week, we finally get new original stuff for once.

You know, I don't get this, I really don't. They needlessly stretched out the Battle of Gods arc to the point where the fight was twice as long as the movie itself, BUT they never bothered to actually show how Vegeta and Goku became blue or how Freeza became gold. WTF? That was the one area that this arc could have actually improved upon the movie and would have been valid development for the trio.

The new Super manga chapter has been released and there is no English scans of it yet. Herms from Kannzenshuu on Twitter has translated some major spoilers


The written test has 10 questions, 50% needed to pass. "Buu fails everything and didn't even write his name right
Piccolo's mad at Buu because he spells his name wrong on the test. Buu yells that he's never done anything like this before.

The Blue Freeza is named "Frost"
Piccolo says Frost's presence doesn't feel violent.
Frost is hinted that he can transform
The new Saiyan is a good guy and his name is Cabba
Universe 6 Saiyans have lost their tails via the evolution process
The Saiyans of U6 are based on a planet called "Salad". In U7, the Saiyans lived there too before it was destroyed by "internal discord".
It seems that the U6 Saiyans battle suit/armor is vastly different from the ones Vegeta and the Saiyans of the 7th Universe have
The purple guy on Universe 6 team is named "Hit". Character design notes for Hit say that his name suggests danger, supporting idea that he's directly named after English word "Hit".
The giant robot is named "Magetta" and is an alien from a species called "Metalman"
The yellow bear is named Botamo. Despite appearances, Botamo is actually hairless, with slick skin.
Champa admits he underestimated Beerus' Saiyans, but suggests Botamo has his own surprise. Chapter ends there.

Oh hot damn yeah. That all sounds good. Really interested to see where Frost goes and what his backstory is like. I always enjoyed the idea that there could be non-evil members of Friezas' race. It's one of the best things about Xenoverse.
