Then what's so emotional about TV-Nihon's sub ? Theirs are more flashy, and sometime leave something that needs to be translated untranslated.

I liked the part where the Kamen Rider and the Super Sentai teamed up!

Personally I prefer Overtime to TVNihon, Nihon take too many liberties some times for my liking.

The film was meh, I don't pretend to know much about Kamen Rider at all but having watched Gokaiger I can safely say they took the lovable rouge Marvelous and just turned him into an uber douche, even with the resolution it just seemed a bit gash.

If they had put the rider enemies with the sentai and vice versa it might have made more sense and made it slightly more coherent, why would you team up with your enemies who killed you previously?

And as for no more sentai or rider particles, Don Dogolier was standing right over there you dingbat? you know, the one who is Gokai Green? If you are going to ignore him at least point out that you don't consider him a threat.

I probably won't watch the film again. I enjoyed the Super Hero Taihen shorts a lot more than the film itself.

- Overtime sucks.

- Watching this version of the dub is like reading bad acting.

- And why does Tsukasa's hair seem to get weirder and higher in every movie he's in O_o

- The translation doesn't match the inflection of what they're saying. It's to damn literal, there's no give. No emotion in the words. I swear it's like reading an episode of MMPR Samurai.

- And the Plot makes no sense so far. Just throwing that out there.

- Was kinda cool seeing Dragon Redder go against Geki Tiger though, I'll say that.

- It's been two posts so: I don't like OverTime.

- And where's Navi? O_o

- How come whenever I hear the DenLiner whistle I smile? It's like a blaring horn call to impending awesome

DiEnd taking control of Big Machine to somehow teach Decade a lesson was idiotic. He never fought a straight fight in his life, but oh suddenly he drives heapbig machines! I took it has ".. Okay, how the hell do we end this?"
I am never watching an OverTime sub again, ever. There's no emotion. There's less emotion here than in Kevin's acting through Samurai.
All in all I liked it. But I have the feeling I'll like it more when I watched it subbed right, by TV-Nihon.

Sentai i completely agree with you on the Subs i just did not feel movie emotion like i would with TV Nihon subbs and so i waiting for there super suburb subs for the film

Technically TV-Nihon is the more literal translation since they often try to stick as close as possible to the original phrasing and grammatical conventions, even when it doesn't flow quite normally in English. Over-Time's translations are more localized, meaning they try to capture less of the specific wording and more of the specific meaning using English equivalents. Both styles have their merits, but I personally prefer the latter.

You could try listening to which one is talking, that's usually a good giveaway.

Sure it's got flaws but its far from terrible. You can sort of see where the writers were coming from, it just didn't carry over too well because of a few little plot points/ shoehorned time travelling trains... But hey, end of the day it's two kids superhero shows meeting, probably best not to over think it.

As for the subs Brotou will always be better than Gotou chan =]

Well that film sure sucked. Yet even at the end I still managed to have a huge smile on my face.

Huge crossovers are cool and all, but its never an excuse for uneven matchups, people acting out of character and still not knowing who or what the hell Narutaki is supposed to be. The inclusion of the Den Liner being at the top of pointless moments the film had.

That being said there were a few things I did like;

- Seeing the Fourze cast again. Even if it was very briefly.
- Meteor getting his ass handed to him. I like Meteor but going back and seeing the cocky Meteor again made me realise how much he grew as a character.
- The Decade/Gokai Red fights were easily the best in the film
- Yoko calling the Shocker grunts dated
- Brajira using his former selves again to fight.
- Go-BusterOh Rocket Drill states

I swear, some of you guys' expectations had to be through the roof if this movie wrecked your day as badly as you made it out to be...

And Sentai, if you're going to complain so much over OT's subs, then you should have clicked the little [X] in the top right corner and waited a couple more weeks for TVN's. It's kind of hard to care about your issues when one of them is almost literally "The words aren't colored."
(Also, he's not Rider Ichigo. He's Rider Ichigou. The "u" at the end is important)
