That's not completely true. ToQer has some deepness, with their memory loss and everything. And last week a villian tried putting everyone inside a damn coffin.

It's just that I don't expect much in terms of deeper meaning to any events or motifs that appear that isn't stated out right. Toqger is simply a Sentai here to have fun with a few heartfelt moments here and there and hopes that you'll come along for the ride. Nothing more, nothing less... that make any sense? |

I dunno, I think ToQ's dark undercurrent is a huge part of its draw. I personally HATE goofy sentai, so it's nice to get a "goofy" series, which has so much bubbling just beneath the surface.

Agreed. Akibaranger got a bit hard to watch without the exposition beneath. Then JUST when I thought it was going somewhere, it turned out to be another silly thing and the show ended with me like o.O

I bet you your credit or debit card has an RFID chip in it. I know all Chase cards have one.
If you have a symbol on the back of the card that looks like a sideways version of the iPhone wifi indicator, you can just tap your card on a card reader with the same symbol and voila. Tap to pay. Even more similar to the ToQgers' touch pass are the iPhone apps for Starbucks and Chipotle. They scan your app at the store and deduct from your account. Japan seems like the kind of place that would have implemented this technology into their cell phones back in 1998. ![]() Last edited by Kamen Rider Lucha; 03-15-2014 at 11:55 AM.. |

Just got around to watching this episode and I have to say I enjoyed this much more than the previous ones, really didn't like the focus on Kagura, she has become my least favourite of the ToQgers while Mio and Tokkati have moved up. Haha. I enjoyed all the small humour like Green and Pink hiding behind his axe during battle and that mecha battle was refreshing as well. Also the part where monster attacks himself to see if it hurt gave me a chuckle. I wasn't feeling too good about this seried but I think I'll give it a chance.
