We've gotten to the point where we can have colours seperation on on Minipla, that's great.
Seems like all of the detail's sculpted in too, plus all of the blocky raised surfaces should make this easier to paint compared to past minipla.I wonder how soon till Bandai just releases Gundam kit quality sentai mech kits? |

Looks rather nice. Leagues ahead of the DX. I might try to grab one eventually~

That just looks fantastic, and overthrows everything I don't like about the DX toy. I've gone from actively disliking this mecha to having a distinct fondness for it.
I'm apprehensive about painting, since I have no tools or experience. We'll see how I feel about it once I have the toy in-hand. |

This looks like it will be an easier paint job that usual thanks to the design. It looks like a simpler color scheme and there are plenty of well-defined lines to use. Just use the decals for trickier things like the Giraffe print and numbers.
The fact that a lot of cube stuff is molded in also screams for panel lining or wash. I'll probably be picking up the miniPla line for JyuuOhger, especially if later combinations get more interesting. Though I'll hold out for a clear edition, hopefully. |

The minipla looks a lot better than I expected. If you guys have any extra sets you plan to sell, I'd be interested in a a complete set. Otherwise, I'll keep an eye on Mandarake for them.

I'm still not clear on what actually comes in a set. For instance, AmiAmi has been selling a 12-pack, and I haven't been able to find a clear breakdown of what's in each box. I suspect that one preorder includes either two or three complete versions of Zyuoh King. I didn't find any place that was offering to let people buy just one set of Zyuoh King. (It's also possible that I'm wrong, and that Zyuoh King is spread out over 12 boxes, but I find it more likely that it's spread out over 6 or maybe 4 boxes.) My point is that people mind end up with duplicates.

Lots of minipla sets include duplicates, hence my asking to buy any extra sets someone may have.
Since it's a pack of 12, then it's natural to assume you'll end up with 4 ZyuOhKings in your hands, unless Tiger and Elephant are included.
