Emu works with kids though so I think he has to smell good in order to work with them.

I've been watching the Kamen Rider Revice: The Mystery spinoff as it is released and it is making me realize something. Revice as a show has been in desperate need of some lighter content like this. Week to week the show is usually so heavy and serious, so getting a chance to see characters like Ikki and Hiromi in slightly calmer and sillier scenarios really lets me see everyone in a new light and gives the viewer some much needed breathing room. It can be hard to get a full handle on the characters when the show is so intent on running them through the wringer every week after all.

So watching through Kabuto, about halfway now. It's so far the best of the Heisei era riders that I've watch starting from Kuuga. I laughed at what I think is the best joke I've heard in Kamen Rider. That was when Tsurugi thought ramen as called La Men. And to me that was genius.

Tsurugi is fantastic. His presence elevates every story he's in, even if it's just for a minute or two.

While reactions to Saber were definitely pretty mixed, I've heard nothing but praise for Revice. I personally think it's the best season since Build. What bad stuff are you hearing about Revive?

My personal opinion: Skip Saber, the reputation it accumulated is warranted IMO, it's not very good. Worth checking out for sure, since my opinion is just that and you might end up loving it, but if you intend to go all-in on a Rider show, I would say don't watch this one.

Revice though? Revice rules. It's really good. Super fun and well done show so far. I wholeheartedly agree with Fredbob392, it definitely is the best one overall since Build for me at the moment.

Saber just seemed too boring for me even though I did technically sit through the whole of Wizard whereas Revice seems back to the slightly more consistent quality of Zero-One at least in my book, although maybe I will actually still go back and finish Saber one day!

I'd say try out Saber, it's real messy on the first arc, but picks itself back up and becomes really imo around the time the Q2 rider debuts. I'd say watching consecutively makes it better than being watched weekly. It's an improvement over Ghost IMO.

Revice is doing pretty solid so far. To the point I think I'd prefer it over Zero-One. Saber's in its own comfort category for me now . I think how one would view Revice kinda depends on how much Vice can you handle. I hated Vice for the first 20 episodes, with only a few scenes were I pretty much tolerate him. He's doing fine now, now that he's outside. And hopefully the current arc does something for him.
