Oh yeah that was it! Mari had zero personality but every guy in the show wanted in her pants. What a horrible character.

Well it's like I said. The problem isn't so much Yuuji turning a new leaf, but how he did so in the span of about 5 or 6 episodes and doesn't bring it up ever again.

It probably didn't bother me so much because of how quickly his ex decided to screw him over though (granted, she was right about him murdering her boyfriend, but she had no way of knowing that).

How quickly? He was in a coma for TWO YEARS. They didn't think he'd wake up.

Her only purpose in the show was to be lusted after. And feminism marches on. Even initially useful things, like her knowledge of the Faiz Gear, ends up falling to the wayside as Takkun gains the ability to pull powers out of his ass he masters on the first use.

Ehhh I don't think every guy does. Only one has really tried, the other two just sort of say it, with Kusaka actually trying to make her love him. Personality wise though, yeah she doesn't have the best. But for what she has though, she isn't that bad.
