According to Mikey Sutton (same guy who called it on a new deal with regards to the Sony/Marvel Spider-Man situation last year) suggests that the new movie Rangers will cameo in Bumblebee 2. He's been suggesting that the Rangers/Transformers/GI Joe occupy a shared universe.

Transformers 2005 IDW Continuity tried to kick-start a joint universe with other Hasbro properties towards the end.
If the claim is true, this is in no way all that surprising! Since the Rangers are a part of Hasbro now, this was inevitable, but the fact that something might be happening this soon might mean that Hasbro wants a slice of the pie that the MCU has enjoyed! Everyone who isn't Marvel wants to ripoff Marvel! Since this technically still falls under rumor, I'll reserve feelings of utter amusement until more official confirmation reveals itself. |

I rather just have a decent movie than establishing a shared universe. Power Rangers already has a shared multiverse.

Seems only fitting that two bad movies occupy the same universe.
But if nothing else, maybe this will lead to some interesting crossover merchandise in the future. |

Make a good movie first, establish a universe later. Iron Man didn't set up MCU until the post-credits scene.

Yeah, could happen the same thing with batman vs superman when fails in the box office.

This seems like a load of speculation/bullshit to me.
