God dammit, why is the music to the evil clone NOT on any of the soundtracks?
Anyway, pretty decent filler for the first two episodes. As I said before, I really like the idea of two Undeads being fused together as it added something new to the mix. Oh yeah, and we are back to bad fashion sense Mutsuki, boooooooooo!! Anyway, I love the start of episode 45 as it really helps knowing that we are now entering the final stages of the series. The design for the Cerberus Undead is pretty cool looking, but did anyone notice that Tennouji's earring seems to have switched sides? Ignoring that though, it is nice to see Mutsuki finally figure out how to use the Remote card and to see him use the Elephant Undead. Of course, the cliff hanger sucks more than anything, but, only one more week to go. So are we going to do four episodes next week? OR split it into two weeks of 2? I'd prefer just doing all 4 in one. |

I was rooting for Mutsuki and Hajime when they fighting against Kenzaki and Tachibana. Who would of thought, the real target was the fused copycat Undead.
No idea if Kerberos is suppose to be Tenounji's ultimate weapon. But damn, it got defeated in the end and even surprised the chairman from the looks of it. Earlier when Mutsuki met with Category King discussing of co-existing together with the Undeads, I hope that happens. I hope we do the remaining last 4 eps. |

Kind of felt like they were winking at the audience with the Riders being quick to distrust each other thanks to all the issues they've had over the series.
It was a little frustrating seeing Mutsuki being so "woe is me" over all that he'd done under the power of the Spider. That character hasn't been much fun to watch, always being a wet blanket over not being powerful enough or not being good enough as a Rider. At the same time, you can't expect him to be totally guilt-free after all that.

This is going to annoy me until wednesday, when I get to the last 10 episodes or so of a series, I usually marathon them and that's what I almost did, especially with the ending of 45 just setting everything up. I recently got Kamen rider battride war and played the blade level, and unfortunately, I think I ended up spoiling the end of blade for myself. Oh well even if I did, both are still fun.
I was groaning at the end of 43 before they revealed the undead was mimicking them instead of controlling them, I normally like it when all the riders band together to fight the big bad, and it looked like that was finally what was happening, luckily it's exactly what happened in episode 44. I totally understand why Den-o used that screen cap for this week, it was an awesome moment. I'm guessing episode 45 is a tie in with the movie since the synthetic category Ace looks identical to the ones used in those movie preview episodes. I am really looking forward to next week's set of episodes as I want to finish another toku and move on to hibiki. |

Episode 45 was so good! I loved that this big threat was introduced and I can't wait to see what happens next week.

Epic Blade Catchup Marathon Part 6/6!
Whew, 18 episodes (in one day) later, and I'm finally caught up. Total. Blade. Overload. Mutsuki is pretty annoying in these episodes, constantly doubting himself, but I guess its understandable. I was enjoying the idea of Mutsuki saving Tachibana and Hajime saving Kenzaki as a nice parallel to what's been happening throughout the series, and to show some actual growth of Mutsuki, but obviously it was not to be. I quite like Kerberos's design, I wasn't expecting him to go down so quickly. But... was he just destroyed at the end of 45? He wasn't shown to be sealed, and if so what about the cards he'd absorbed, were they destroyed too? Maybe I'm just over-thinking, but it'll still be interesting to see if anything comes of that. Joker's back will he be able to suppress his instincts or not? Its finally down to the last 2 undead... Looking forward to the climax! Hoping we do all 4 eps to finish the series this Wednesday! |

Pretty clever of Tennouji to use Titan to spread seed of distrust. Knowing that it has the poison from the previous episode, the Riders were thrown off balance till Hajime saw through the disguise ability. The plan to lure out and eliminate Titan was well executed. The Kerberos Undead was pretty cool design, and a very dangerous foe for the Riders in the series. Even though Mutsuki's use of the Elephant Undead Remote failed, I like that he's trying to fight alongside the Undead he has sealed.

Only seen 43, but it looks like Tennouji is winning with the Kamen Riders are fighting each other. It's great to see that Tachibana's plight has spurred Mutsuki to become stronger.

I liked episodes 43 and 44, Titan Undead was cool but he felt like a monster of the week. It was nice that we finally have closure on all of the Riders fighting each other with this two parter.
Episode 45 starts off with...... a narration. Actually, this episode has lots of callbacks to stuff throughout the series, the basin that Tacibana woke up in and decided to pledge his allegience to the Peacock Undead, Elephant Undead being under Mutski's control, Amane saying to Mutski to not make a lady wait, it had quite a lot. And holy shit Tennouji means business. In episode 45, he throws Kerberos into the Stone of Sealing, and it just murders the scientists that just created him with Tennouji not even batting an eye to the massacre behind him as he stares at the blank. I thought they were going to explain how Blade won the fight with Keroberos by saying that since he's fused with all 13 undead of his suit at once in King Form, his cards can't be stolen since they're genetically bonded to him. |
