Saw Iron Man 3 today. Pretty amazing. Can someone just spoil the post-credits scene? We left before it showed because we thought there wasn't gonna be one.

Suffered through The (not so) Great Gatsby the other day. It was awful due to the ADD editing and the god awful insulting rap music. Whomever thought putting rap music in a movie that takes place during the 20s was a ****ing retard and should have their movie making license revoked.

No kidding. How can you leave a Marvel movie before the credits are thru?

That side, I enjoyed the novella, and the movie was pretty much a great interpretation of it from what I can recall.

Watched Aftershock the other day and it's easily in my top ten list of worst films of all time. Utterly disgusting trash.

Watched Star Trek Into Darkness over the weekend, and it was simply amazing. Like ZeoRangerV I went in without spoilers and was absolutely floored.
Benedict Cumberbatch is one of the gems of this generation, but practically everyone else shined in the movie, especially the two main actors Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto as Kirk and Spock respectively. While I liked Quinto in the 2009 movie, I still had reservations, but in this movie he was so good that now he IS effectively Spock for me. I doubt any other modern actor could channel Spock so well. I watched Iron Man 3 the week before and while it wasn't the best Marvel Cinematic movie I've seen, it was definitely the high point of the Iron Man movies. Aldrich Killian is definitely the most frightening, the most dangerous and ultimately, the most personal villain Iron Man has had in the movies. The Mandarin twist was disappointing, but it was such a surprising twist I really don't know what to feel about it. On one hand I was annoyed, but on the other I thought it was absolutely brilliant.

I think the idea behind it was fantastic, I just think there must have been a better way to go about it rather than "To appease all you comic fans here's the closest thing to the comic Mandarin you're probably going to get, only halfway through we're going to turn him into a big joke."

Well, the movie felt kinda like the last one, so we(I) thought that there wouldn't be a preview because it would be over.
