So my laptop is around three years old, not really a LONG life, but as far as laptops go this thing is a warhorse. Sadly I also think it's on its last legs, it overheats, the connector for headphones broke pretty early into the laptops life but worst of all I honestly think the USBs have had it as well.
So I started looking on Amazon and almost spat my drink all over the screen when I saw laptops going for two thousand pounds, have the prices of laptops inflated that much in such a short space of time? My laptop was under five hundred and is still considered decently spec'd even today. By the way I'm talking in pounds, so if you want to convert that to dollars...yeah, don't have a heart attack. Acer seem to do some pretty decently kitted laptops for cheap prices but when it comes to electronics with good specs and cheap prices, it always make me nervous. WHY is it so much cheaper than the other laptop with worse specs? I would just go for a MacBook but the 13 screen is tiny when you can get laptop screens about five inches bigger than that these days. Overall what I'm looking for is something that is way below a thousand pounds, with a big, high quality screen and processor which can handle big, high quality media files to play. I'm focused on desktop replacements, not gaming.
