I doubt it. At the SMP scale, they cheat all the time. I wouldn't be surprised if the red dragon could either transform accurately to the show, or partsform for increased articulation.

Yeah, I'm surprised they haven't done Dairanger yet either. I'd really like them to just fill out the 90s by giving us Fiveman, Dairanger, Ohranger, Carranger, and Gingaman, with my main interests being Dairanger and Ohranger.
That being said, I wouldn't mind Hurricaneger. I haven't seen the series, but I do really like the design. Timeranger could be neat as well - I'd be so down for a V-Rex kit.

Really cool that they're willing to revisit series. Hoping to get Mega Voyager (with Astro and Delta Mega reissues since I'm missing those) and Victory Mars one day.
SMP Ninja Man definitely seems like something they wouldn't have wanted to touch four years ago because it would have been a weird partsformer, which probably would have seemed underwhelming for a kit that didn't combine or have a full-on transformation more involved than Ninja Man's. Also feeling like another step toward one day during Dairanger. I feel like the sort of clip-on/"armor" gattai additions, even from more recent kits (i.e. Max Victory Robo) are the least solid-feeling, which makes DairenOh all the more difficult to pull off. Okay real talk...every SHODO Super team we've gotten except Gokaiger also has a Super Minipla release for the mechs. With the Dairanger SHODO set coming...does that mean Dairanger SMP are likely on the way?

I don't know why they'd even make SHODO Dairanger if it wasn't to accompany an upcoming SMP release. I'm basically taking it as a light confirmation

Seeing SMP Daidenzin and Denzi Tiger got me wishing King-Ohger brought the carriership back. We haven't had one of those since Maskman come to think of it.

We have had a few, they're just a lot less explicit about it and had more features to them -- often being a robot themselves. Most obvious is Abaranger's Brachio; but then others like Kyuranger's Orion and Dekaranger's Dekabase also absolutely count imo

2023 was a pretty killer year for Minipla. I built more and had more fun with minipla and candy toys than any other toy line this year.
This is a top ten candy toys (mostly minipla) from popular Japanese builder, @Tomoshoo1: https://nodokalife.com/shockgung-2022best10 The Gaoranger stuff was seriously impressive.
