Okay so here goes.
I've watched Kamen Rider Ryuki, Kamen Rider Fourze, and everything so far in Kamen Rider Gaim. I tried Wizard and I didn't like it at all. So those four are off the table. But I'm looking to watch a Kamen Rider series, and I'm unsure of which to do. I've been tempted by Decade, as a lot of people seem to love it. I started Agito but again, lost interest. Been thinking of checking out OOO as many people have shown love for it, but I'm not sure. I don't have any interest in the older, older series. Not right now at least. So sell me on a series and why! What do I like? Some humor is good, but I like great action scenes. Multiple Riders make it fun and interesting. Something with an on-going storyline and not so "episodic", where every episode is a new story, etc.

First off, OOO- Youve got Greed, a floatin hand, a hobo that strangely has a different set of clothes each episode and multiple pairs of underwear for tomorrow, creepy dude with a doll, a girl with strength of the hulk, a dude wantin to collect one. Million medals, and a guy who bakes cakes and thinks everythin is about birthdays.
Next Kabuto, youve got a lot of riders, and good interaction between them. Pretty good story, but a confusin movie.

I really liked Hibiki. Just finished watching it recently and, despite some production woes, it's honestly one of my favorite seasons I've watched so far (not quite as good as Ryuki, maybe on par with W, definitely better than Wizard).
It has some incredibly beautiful cinematography and, at least earlier on, is filmed in a lot of locations that you just don't see in most Rider seasons (namely mountainous and foresty areas). Prior to the shift in production staff it also had just..this really unique feel, things like the use of kanji appearing on the screen to emphasize or define things, and just set the mood a bit. Plus the use of sound and music is incredible. The core cast of riders are also pretty damned solid, and their relationship and interactions are really believable and you just get this sense of comradery between them. It has it's share of incredibly well acted, emotionally charged moments. I also really liked that the story was, ostensibly, about the relationship between the titular rider, Hibiki, and a young boy facing a crossroads in his life and this bond they share and how the boy learns and grows from the oni. Plus there's just something awesome about the musical instrument weapons and how they finish off the season's monsters (most of which are, while not quite Godzilla size, are significantly larger than you normally get in Kamen Rider). The latter portion of the season does tend to be a bit of a dividing point, a lot of fans, from what I understand, really don't like the changes and feel that the series took a turn for the worse when production shifted, and while I agree in the sense that the look and feel and sound of the show was at its best earlier on, there were some very very solid story and character arcs in the last run of episodes, we got some fantastic development and growth for a lot of the core cast, some good drama. The last episode is the only one I feel really suffers too much, and that's because it was rewritting over and over and wasn't finalized until they were already filming it. Oh and I hated them changing the opening theme and dropping the closing one. There are also some fantastic battles, with the riders/oni having to face off against larger monsters than the norm and later on larger amounts of the smaller variety. One of the oni uses a guitar as a giant sword of sorts and jams out after he kills the makamou, it's freaking awesome. I'd also give W a very strong recommendation. It was the second season I watched in full after Fourze, and I felt it managed a fantastic balance between more fun and lighthearted, humorous moments and a darker more serious tone. When W wanted to be emotional, dramatic, serious, and even somewhat dark, it did so wonderfully. But it also has some really funny moments, some really likable characters, a great mood and tone, I love the hard-boiled, almost film noir inspired feel it has. I think W has one of my favorite groups of main villains in the Sonozaki family. Shotaro and Phillip play off of eachother very well, and are amongst my favorite riders of all time. There's a reason this season gets as much hype as it does and is usually seen as a good entry point for those looking to get into the franchise. My only real complaint with W is the very last episode, it should have ended the episode before it and left it at that.

I'm actually going to go against type here and not go with my standard answer of Black/Hibiki/Agito. All three are fantastic, of course, but there is a glaring absence on your list of completed shows: Kamen Rider W.
W was the gateway series for a lot of people and there's a lot of reasons why many still consider it the best of the Neo-Heisei era. It's an incredibly fun show with a likable cast of main characters, deep and engaging villains, and some very memorable guest stars and monsters. Shotaro is easily one of the most enjoyable main Riders ever and handles both humor and drama very effectively. Philip is odd, but there's a lot of compelling mystery about him. Ryu is a great secondary Rider who adds a lot to the show's mythology and has a good story arc of his own. Akiko is... there. The show has a good balance of humor, action, and drama (only Rider show to ever make me tear up and I am not ashamed to admit it). It does use the two-episode arc structure, but manages to still have several well-developed ongoing subplots that carry across much of the show (unlike, say, Wizard). The fights are very well done and include some of Koichi Sakamoto's best work as a director (and some of his last stuff that wasn't overly pervy). The suits look good in action, the mixing and matching of powers can be very fun, and the bad CGI only rears its head in the first couple episodes. Not only is the story well done, but it also has one of the tightest mythologies in Rider history. Every film adds something that helps flesh out the world and its characters, some aspects of which carried over onto Fourze. There may not be as many W movies as Den-O, but they're generally used more effectively to help develop the W world, especially all of the stuff that involves Skull. I tend to think Skull is a little overhyped, personally, but I can't deny that he's still fantastic. Let's see, what else... The music is amazing. The supporting characters are all really fun and dynamic. The villains are mostly developed in detail and some actually become very sympathetic. The show does a great job of combining a noir feeling with modern tokusatsu. The list really just goes on and on. Watch W, it's a great show. |

Kamen Rider Fourze - The first series I watched all of (Kamen Rider). It has everything you need in a series. It can be serious when it has to be, it has great characters who are devoloped, it has heart and humor. And the feels towards the end are excellent. Yuki will keep you interested in this series if nothing else. Kamen Rider Kiva - Yes, it has problems. Like not flushing out a couple ideas (Fake Fuestles, Booster). But it's still a really good series. Wataru you want to cheer for, Otoya will both annoy and entertain you, not to mention some of the best music in a Kamen Rider series. Kamen Rider W - Do I really need to? Alright. Philip and Shotaro, and yes even Akiko. It has a great story, an even better ending, and amazing movies. If you don't watch this I might start questioning your sanity. Kamen Rider OOO - I'll make you proud, Reggie! Eiji is the kind of character you want to root for. He didn't seek the Driver, he was being used by someone else. But he still used it to do what he believes in. Ankh is a great anti-hero. And the two of them together are just amazing. Great music, even better story, even better characters. |

W or Blade.
I'd go into detail, but if I could slur text, I'd be doing that right now. So I guess Double, based on Switch's post.

Kiva: For the reasons Sentai said.
Den-O: It's sense of humor is pretty nuts, and it is a bit episodic, but there are other things going on to keep you invested (Like what happened to Ryoutaro's sister, among other things. However I would be saying MAJOR spoilers if I went any further.) Character-wise, The Imagin are the standout characters each of them being energetic and generally fun to watch. Zeronos and Deneb are an awesome duo. Music is fairly good as well, not Gaim good, but still good.

As for selling you on a series, I'm not sure. A lot of people have already brought up good points about all the shows I've seen. I want to say Kabuto is less episodic feeling. But at the same time, the flow of the story is very odd. I quite enjoyed Kabuto and all the riders. Loved the transformations. In fact, I'm actually trying to build a collection of Pokémon inspired by Kabuto. I've only got Kabuto and Gatack so far though. I could easily recommend OOO for the same reasons as everyone else. Just thinking about it makes me want to watch it again. Lol. Oh I could also recommend Den-O. I feel like it's been a while since I've seen it though. All I remember are the catch phrases and time travel. I'm always up for time travel. Anytime I find out about a show or movie with time travel, I go for it.

Decade has a concept, the suit and powers, the general storyline, all work. The problem was it all failed in the execution.
